Family Displaced After Fire Breaks Out In Pottstown Home: Report

Firefighters helped knock down a Monday, Aug. 29 blaze that broke out in a Pottstown home, displacing a family, WFMZ reports.

A resident was able to stop the fire from spreading by shutting a bedroom door inside the house on the 1200 block of Maple Street around 10:40 p.m., the outlet says.

The family of four is reportedly staying elsewhere.
